9/6 Jacks or Better — Simple+ Strategy
Look at your dealt hand, find the highest line on this list you can make, and hold exactly that. Nothing to memorize beyond the order.
This 18-line list = 99.500% exact (solver-optimized) · Optimal ≈ 99.54% · gap ≈ one bet per 11,500 hands
ABOUT EXCEPTIONS
A simplified list can't capture every penalty-card nuance. On rare hands the exact solver prefers a line ranked lower than the one your hand matches. The trainer always grades against the exact solver — a list play that gives up EV is a mistake — and shows you both lines and the exact EV difference. Over the long run a simplified list returns about 0.01%–0.1% less than perfect play, depending on the game.

TERMS WORTH KNOWING
High card — a Jack, Queen, King, or Ace. Pairs of these pay, so they are kept more often.
Outside straight — open on both ends and completable two ways, e.g. 7-8-9-10.
Inside straight — a gap in the middle, e.g. 6-7-9-10. A-2-3-4 and J-Q-K-A count as inside too.
